We are a consultancy for integrated project delivery in the building industry sector. This method integrates people, systems, business structures and practices into a process that collaboratively harnesses the talents and insights of all participants to optimize project results, increase value to the owner, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency through the entire project life cycle.
Building Information Modeling
Livingroomcraftz uses Building Information Modeling (abbreviated BIM) technologies to deliver projects using the IPD methodology. Building Information Modeling (BIM) covers geometry, spatial relationships, light analysis, geographic information, quantities and properties of building components. BIM can be used to demonstrate the entire project life cycle, including the processes of construction and facility operation.
Economic and Ecological Vision
Up to now, the building industry relies largely on traditional technologies, such as drafting and 2-dimensional CAD to create complex buildings. By today's standards, these technologies are inefficient and prone to failure. Mistakes are costly and can have wide economical and ecological impact. Advanced new tools such as BIM give us the ability to prototype building projects in detail. Creating a 3-dimensional model of the building allows to prototype it's construction in virtual space, thereby avoiding errors before they can happen in the real world.
